Elisha-Marie Wilkinson is a proud native of Metairie, Louisiana, where her family currently resides. However, she has created a home for herself in the Northeast Louisiana community as the founder and President of Queens of Tomorrow (QOT). Residing and working in Monroe, Louisiana, Elisha holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Masters from Grambling State University.

 

As a Licensed Social Worker, Elisha is dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being. Her work involves providing invaluable support, counseling, and advocacy to individuals and families in need, always upholding the highest standards of care. Through her expertise, Elisha is able to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.

 

Elisha's passion for the well-being of families in the North-LA region led her to establish QOT in 2019. This organization is focused on empowering young girls in the Ouachita Parish area by equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for success. QOT offers a range of opportunities, including community service, financial literacy, mental health awareness, college readiness mentorship, and entrepreneurship training.

 

In addition to her work with QOT, Elisha actively contributes to the community in various ways. She is a member of True Vine Baptist Church, where she finds spiritual guidance under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Stonewall Hunter. Elisha is also a 2023 Provisional member of the Monroe Junior League, engaging in numerous outreach efforts.

 

Elisha's dedication and contributions have been recognized through her participation in 2023 Leadership Ouachita class. Furthermore, QOT has received consecutive nominations for the Best Mentor Program in 2021, 2022, and 2023. These nominations highlight the positive impact of QOT's mentorship initiatives and underscore the importance of the safe and nurturing environment Elisha provides for the youth.
